Jayce Michael Shanahan

Jayce Michael Shanahan, age 6, a resident of Dryden Township passed away at Children’s Hospital in Detroit on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Jayce was born January 2, 2013 in Mt. Clemens, the son of Jeffrey and April (Deriemaecker) Shanahan. Jayce was a 1st grader in the Dryden Schools. Jayce was an outgoing child, who was loved by all who met him. Being around Jayce made everything better, and made you feel good. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, playing video games, putt-putt golf, and fishing. Jayce is survived by his loving parents Jeff and April, brother Travis Hathcock, sister Ashlyn Shanahan and his boxer Stella. He is also survived by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo Michigan 48065-1/2 Mile West of Van Dyke). Visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 1-8 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family.
