Jerome E. (Rusty) Tucker, age 65, a 20 year resident of Allenton and formerly from Ray Township,  passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at his home.  Rusty was born December 25, 1943 in Hempstead, N.Y., the son of Orville and Ruby (Garret) Tucker.  He married Cheryl A. Mannerow on June 26, 1965 in Pontiac.  Rusty was a consultant in the automobile business for many years and was the founder/owner of Tucker Induction System in Shelby Twp. Along with his wife Cheryl and his daughter Kim, they were the founders of  Salon et cetera in Romeo.  Rusty was a sporting enthusiast his whole life.  He enjoyed his street rods which he loved to drive in parades, had modified tractors that he ran at local meets, loved to ice fish and go hunting.  Rusty belonged to the Huntsman Club in Metamora, where he enjoyed shooting.  He belonged to the SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) and was an avid gun collector.      Rusty is survived by his wife Cheryl, children:  Kimberly (Benito) Tucker-Olvera of Allenton, Kathryn Tucker of Washington Twp., and Greg (Georgia) Japanga of Bruce Twp.  Grandchildren include David & Savannah Japanga, Nathan & Sophia Olvera and Emily Martens.  Rusty's siblings include Judy (Hugh) Davis of Clinton Twp., Fred (Linda) Tucker & Clifford Tucker both of Florida, O. Tom (Linda) Tucker of White Lake, MI., and Don McClurg of Pontiac.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Karolyn.      Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 1 PM with the services being ministered by his uncle, Clifford Tucker.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Michigan. Burial will take place on Friday at 1 PM at the Chase Twp. Cemetery in Reed City, Michigan. Visitation: Visitation Times Wednesday 2-9 Malburg Funeal Home
