Jeanette Reed

Jeanette Reed (Wilson), age 67, of Washington twp. passed away on April 15, 2025 at home after a long illness.

Jeanette married Duane on June 21, 1986 in St. Pancratius church of Cass city. They were happily married for 38 years.

Jeanette was born in Detroit on January 31, 1958 and lived a life filled with family and friends. She was always willing to give a hand to help someone in need, and she was proud of everything that she accomplished in life.

She loved gardening, taking care of her flowers, and sewing blankets for everyone. She loved being a grandma to her granddaughter Shiloh. She enjoyed browsing garage sales with Duane, and was always looking for the next thing to put in the flower beds. She enjoyed playing all types of games with the family, and especially loved having a competitive games of Scrabble with Duane.

She is survived by her husband Duane and her children Patrick (Alexandra), Danielle (Steven) Bry. Granddaughter, Shiloh Jean Bry. Her siblings Joe (Amy) Wilson Ann (Ted)Hirsch, Sarah(Tom) Blanchfield, Bob(Marti) Wilson, Stan(Kathy) Wilson, and Mary (Joe) Piekacz.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Martha Wilson (Krassowski) and her brother Donald Patrick Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 1 – 8 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI. 

A memory share will begin at 7pm.
