Jennifer Adeline Toles

Jennifer “Jennie” Adeline Toles of Rochester Hills went home to our Lord on July 8, 2022. Jennie was born on August 11, 1947 the daughter of Major Ralph and Sarah (Baxter) Toles in Detroit, MI. In spite of suffering a severe organic brain injury at 18 months of age, Jennie lived life to the fullest. She had an abundant determination to learn that lasted her entire lifetime. She was extremely patriotic. She lovedThe United States of America. One of her favorite subjects to study were the U.S. Presidents. Jennie played the organ and piano. She traveled extensively with her family. Jennie lived at The Coleman Foundation in Hudson, Michigan for 60 years, before residing with her sister, Janie. Jennie had a strong Christian belief. She prayed numerous times daily, her faith never faltered. Jennie is survived by her beloved sister, Janie. After their parents passed, their cousins Georgia Toles, Kelly and Dan Bertovich, Carrie Hoxie, Christy and Jeremy Yarbrough, Katie and Melissa Hoxie, and Shirley Moeckel became their immediate family. Young cousins Nick, Julianna, Aubrey, Stosh, Nora, Kate and Meg provided excitement and love. Jennie is also survived by many dear friends, and numerous caregivers who made being home possible. Funeral Services will take place 1:30 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road in Romeo. Dale Simmermanwill be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Bruce-Armada Township Cemetery. Visitation July 13, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
