Jerome Kramer Sullivan of Romeo, age 86, passed away on Father's Day at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. He is survived by his ten children: Shannon, Pat (Dana), Jerry (Renee), Mick (Michelle), Tim (Brenda), Tom (Margrete), Kelli, Sean (Kristina), Brian (Elizabeth), and Kevin (Ellen); and fifteen grandchildren: Jerome, Taylor, Leah, Halie, Patrick, Benjamin, Nicholas, Ruby, Skylar, Cooper, Mary, Austin, Alexis, Noah, and Jack. Jerome grew up in Detroit, but Romeo has been his home for the past 49 years. Jerome was a Korean war veteran, a Teamster until his retirement, and he was the rock of the Sullivan family. Jerome and his wife, Mary, who passed away three years ago, were married for 58 years. His biggest joy was to have his loved ones gather for a meal in the beautiful home that he built for his family in Romeo. As the patriarch of the Sullivan clan, Jerome will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather, and a humble and kind gentleman who was adored by family, friends, and the Romeo community. Fond memories of him will be cherished in the lives of his loved ones as well as anyone who had the honor to know him. Jerome will live forever in the hearts of many. Visitation will be at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7PM. The funeral will be on Friday at St. Clemens Catholic Church in Romeo at 10:00 a.m.
