Jerry J. Rybak

May 18, 1938 — February 1, 2023

Jerry J. Rybak, age 84, a lifelong Oakland Township resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home. Jerry was born May 18, 1938 in Detroit, the son of Andrew and Helen Rybak. He married Wanda Jurek on September 30, 1967 at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo. After graduating from GMI, Jerry worked 7 years at General Motors, then another 7 years at Computer Peripherals . Afterwards, Jerry started work as a self-employed excavator until retirement. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and enjoyed his family time. They were also lifelong members of St Clement Catholic Church.


Jerry is survived by his wife Wanda, children: Wayne of Oakland Twp, Stephen (Karla) of Lake Orion, Albert of Oakland Twp., Christopher of Big Rapids, and daughter Julie (Pete) Glover of Negaunee, MI. Also survived by 5 grand children: Holly Glover, Jacob Rybak, Addison Rybak, James Glover, and Andrew Rybak. Preceded in death by his sister Arlene Rigdon.


Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 6 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with visitation on Sunday from 2-7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
