Jerry P. Jannette

Jerry P. Jannette, age 78, an 18 year resident of Almont and formerly from Davis, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Jerry was born July 17, 1943 in Detroit, the son of Anthony and Buelah (Geierman) Jannette. He married Roberta Eisenhardt on January 9, 1965 at St Isidore’s Catholic Church in Macomb Twp., MI. Jerry worked as an automotive designer for many years at the GM Tech Center in Warren until retirement in 2002. When not working, Jerry enjoyed riding his many motorcycles, traveling the country with his wife, skiing in the winter, and working on/driving his beloved 1967 Camaro SS. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Roberta, children: Rhonda (Ron) Alcini and Brenda (Dave) Heimbuch both of Romeo and Robert (Jennifer) Jannette of Shelby Twp. Grandchildren include Jesse, Jena, Abbe, & Dylan Alcini, Mitchell, Ryan, & Addison Heimbuch, Alana & Cooper Jannette, and Lauren & Anna Carabio. Siblings surviving include Dan (Linda) Jannette of Lapeer, Diane (Dennis) Krolczyk of St Clair, Michele (Fred) Martel of Macomb Twp., Denise (Marc) DeCubber of Davisburg, Tony (Jiong) Jannette of Oxford and Dominic Pittiglio. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister Susan Pittiglio. Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
