Jeudi A. Hawkins

Jeudi A. Hawkins, age 70, a 14 year resident of Washington Township and formerly from Ferndale, MI., passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her home. Jeudi was born September 12, 1941, the daughter of Richard and Lena (Belyea) Hill. She was a longtime hairdresser in the Oakland County area, and then worked for Target in Madison Heights for many years. In her spare time, she loved to garden. Jeudi is survived by her children: Cully (Mary) Hawkins of Ferndale and Shawn (Jim) Holland of Royal Oak. Also survived by her grandchildren Jillian, Zachary, & Aurora Hawkins and Andi, Lindsay, and Ben Holland along with her brother Bill Richmond of Washington Township. Services will take place on Friday June 29, 2012, at 7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Meadows of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church of Ray Township officiating. Visitation take place on Friday from 2-7 PM. Burial will take place on Saturday June 30, 2012 at 11 AM at Mt Vernon Cemetery in Washington Township. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
