Joan M. Striber

Joan M. Striber, age 70 a 37 year resident of Romeo passed away on August 6, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Joan was born on January 19, 1944 the daughter of Marshal and Helen (Glebocki) Rea in Troy, New York. On August 11, 1978 in Alger, Michigan she married Edward Striber. Joan worked for many years as a Hair Stylist. She loved flower gardening and there place up north on Smith Lake in Mio, Michigan. Joan loved her cats they were her whole life. Joan is survived by her husband Edward of Romeo. Children Shannon Boomer of Imlay City and Theodore (Caycee) of Clinton Twp.. Brother Craig of Flushing. Sisters Jean Liss of Arizona and Rosemary Christocopulus of Arizona. Grandchildren Keith Dodson, Ashley Boomer, and Phillip Dodson. Great grandchild Jorden Boomer. Funeral services are private.
