Joann E. Lanoye

Joann E. Lanoye, age 78, a 20 year resident of New Baltimore and previously from Roseville, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at her home. Joann was born March 22, 1935 in Lapeer, the daughter of John and Laura (Klauss) Roberts. Joann worked as an industrial sewing machine operator for 35 years at the Ford Motor Company “Local 400”. Joann is survived by her children; John (Debra) Pierce of Bruce Twp., Darrell (Collette) Pierce of Kalkaska, William (Penny) of Traverse City, Kenneth (Diane) of East Lansing, and also her five grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 1 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Salles of St. Pauls Episcopal Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM-1 PM. A luncheon in will be held at the Office Pub in downtown Romeo from 2-5 PM.
