John A. Arnoske

John A. Arnoske, age 68, a 32 year resident of Washington Twp., passed away at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital on Thursday, August 27, 2009. John was born July 5, 1941 in Detroit, the son of Arthur and Theresa (Opalka) Arnoske. He married Kathlyn Becker on June 1, 1963 at St. Veronica’s Catholic Church in Eastpointe, MI. John graduated from Wayne State University with B.A. in business and then worked for over 34 years at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren where he worked as an Environmental Quality Control expert until retirement in 1999. His hobbies included being on his computer and working in his garden. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 of St Clement of Rome where he was charter member, serving as its treasurer for over 25 years. John just recently joined the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, where he belonged to the Bishop Joseph Schoenherr Assembly. Along with his family, they were also members of St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. John is survived by his wife Kathy of Washington Twp., children: Bob Arnoske of New Boston, MI., and Carol (Ken) Malek of Washington, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Jessica & Daniel Malek and his brother Dick (Tonya) Arnoske of Whitmore Lake, MI. John was preceded in death by his daughter Joanne along with his sister Susan Helka. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 7-9 and on Sunday from 2-9 with a 7 PM rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo. Donations to American Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation: Saturday 7 -9 Sunday 2 - 9 with a 7 PM rosary Services: Monday 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo Interment: Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township
