John Charles Gee

John Charles Gee, age 79, a 20 year resident of Almont and formerly from Rochester , MI., passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at War Memorial Hospital in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. John was born September 12, 1930 in Walkerville, Ontario, the son of Joseph Ronald and Minola Mae (Shaw) Gee. He married the former Elizabeth Jean Wyss on August 29, 1953 at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo. John was the owner/operator of “Diamond Broach Company, Inc.” of Warren MI. which made specialty tool parts for the auto industry from 1968 till 1988. Upon retiring, John loved to travel. Along with his family, they were previously long time members of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo. John is survived by his wife Elizabeth, children: John (Jan)of Almont, Caroline (Douglas) Sowatsky of Sullivan, Wisconsin, & Carl (Suzanne) Gee of Florida. Grandchildren include John & Helen Sowatsky and Bradfield & Lauren Gee. His sister Mona (Garth) Thomas of Rochester, New York survives and he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Kim Gee along with brother William and sisters Marie and Ruth Corwin. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at noon at St Paul’s Episcopal Church of Romeo with Rev. Fr Stacy Salles officiating . Visitation will be on Monday from 3-9 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the Karmanos Cancer Institute would be appreciated. Visitation: on Monday from 3-9 PM from 11 AM Tuesday till the service starts at noon. Services: Noon at the St Paul's Episcopal Church of Romeo. Interment: Burial at the Romeo Cemetery
