John H. Hornung

December 27, 1929 — November 14, 2022

John Hornung (92 yrs. old) passed away in his home in Bruce Township on November 14th, 2022.

He is the son of Anton and Maria Hornung, born in Croatia in 1929.

He married his lovely wife Anna on May 19th, 1956.

As a young immigrant, John had little money and much to overcome.

By the end, he built three generations of family that love him, as well as a beautiful home he crafted himself.

Despite his hard work, John was known to be a great jokester and storyteller, and no dessert left out was safe from his notorious sweet tooth. He loved to make people laugh, and was a kind and loyal man. He will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his wife Anna, his daughters: Edie (Novak) and Sue (Howard) his grandchildren: Carly (Novak), Felicia (Mann), Courtney (Novak), and Anthony (Howard) and great grandchildren: Blaze and Colton, Heidi Jean, Belleame, and Quentin.
