John J. Ankoviak Jr.

John Ankoviak, age 75, of Romeo passed away on June 11, 2012 peacefully at his home. John was born March 4, 1937 in Detroit Michigan. Parents were John and Laura Ankoviak. John married Marietta Carmen on June 10, 1961 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Detroit Michigan. John retired from the Detroit News in 1995 after working there for 39 years. John loved to antique shop and was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo Michigan for many years. John is survived by his wife Marietta of Romeo Michigan. Sons include Kevin Ankoviak of Califonia and Scott Ankoviak of Romeo. Daughter Cheryl Ankoviak of Romeo Michigan. Brother James (Dorothy) Ankoviak of Florida. Sisters Patricia (William) Jenuwine of Marine City and Sister Mary Ann Ankoviak (SSJ) of Algonac. A memorial service will be on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo Michigan. Arrangemets by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
