John J. Budzyn

John J. Budzyn, age 76 of Lenox Township and formerly from Sterling Heights, MI., passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Suncrest Nursing Facility in Lapeer, Michigan. John was born April 8, 1941 in Detroit, the son of John and Rosemary (Cackowski) Budzyn. He married Gloria “Jean” Jones on April 28, 1962 in Utica, Michigan. John retired from Kroger’s Grocery Store after more than 40 years of employment working as a clerk in its Oakland County Stores. He previously worked in the Ford Utica Trim plant before starting to work for Kroger’s. Upon retirement, John attended St Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and enjoyed to read and spend time with his family. John is survived by his wife Jean, children: Robert (Melinda) Budzyn of Washington Twp., Franklin (Laura) Budzyn of Chesterfield Twp., Vicki (Pat) Brady of Goodrich, MI. and Tani (T.J.) Tucker of Florida. Also survived by grandchildren Franklin, Emily, Ashley, Jessica, Sara, Erin, Robert, and James along with great grandchildren Luke, Mason, Sophia, Ronin, Brentley, & Oliver and siblings Patricia Hansen of Imlay City and Delores (the late Bruce)Natzel of Rochester, Michigan. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM. Burial will take place a the Bruce-Armada Cemetery in Bruce Township, Michigan.
