John J. Mignone

John J. Mignone, age 87 a 25 year resident of Romeo/Washington Twp. passed away on June 9, 2018 at Crtittenton Hospital Medical Center. John was born on June 10, 1930 in Port Chester, New York. John graduated from Port Chester High School in 1948 and then joined the Army. He was in the Army until his father became ill and had to come back home. John moved to Detroit in the 1950’s and began work in sales for Yale Lock and Manufacturing. John retired from Computerized Security Systems on June 1, 2000. John loved his job, golfing, racket ball, and anything sports related. John is survived by his loving wife Jackie of Washington Twp. Children Sandra (Warren) Wilson of Commerce Twp. And Ken (Maryanne) Mignone of Massachusetts. Step children Jennifer (Dustin) Henderson of Borger Texas and Philip (Joan) Tracy of California. Grandchildren Brendan and John. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
