John P. Stephen

John P. Stephen, age 73, a lifelong Romeo resident passed away on July 31, 2013 in Richmond, Michigan. John was born on December 23, 1939 in Almont, Michigan the son of Howard and Irma. John graduated from Romeo High School in 1957 where he played baseball, football, and was in the band. He attended Eastern Michigan University and was in the Army where he was commissioned to second lieutenant. He was a well known for his music and being a stone mason in the Romeo area. John is survived by his brother Jim (Jackie) of Lake Orion, sister Marcia Tschirhart of Waterford. Also, eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Irma in 2011. Funeral services will take place on Monday August 5, 2013 from 3-8. Burial will be on August 6, 2013 at Bruce-Armada Cemetery. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation: Monday August 5, 2013 from 3 - 8. Interment: Bruce Armada Cemetery Tuesday August 6, 2013 10 AM.
