John R. (Jack) Lundy

John R. (Jack) Lundy, age 77, a resident of Romeo since1976, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Jack was born October 7, 1937 in Detroit, the son of John L. and Ann (Kramarich) Lundy. He married the former Pat Leitz/Cassidy on June 6, 1984 in Romeo. Jack retired from Chrysler Corporation as a truck driver hauling materials at the Sterling Assembly Plant in 1995 after 30 years of employment. Upon retirement, he worked for a short time as a driver for Sherman Automotive Body Parts in Washington Township. He enjoyed traveling, and enjoyed just being around his many friends and family at his home. He served his country proud while in the Air Force in the early 1960’s. Jack is survived by his wife Pat, children: John M. of Romeo, Kelly Richter of Lake Orion, Jackie (Jason) Schade of Chesterfield Twp., and Amy (Rich Chandler) Leitz of Washington, Michigan. Also survived by his grandchildren: Alaina, Noah, Mackenzie Chandler, and Samuel. Jack was preceded in death by his son Eric Leitz and sisters Carole Green and Grace Mary Quest.
