John R. Stilber

John Raymond Stilber, 80, a resident of Romeo since 1977, passed away on April 16, 2020, at Belmar Oakland. John was born June 14, 1939, in Huntington Woods, Michigan, the son of John and Ella (Jubelt) Stilber. He was a graduate of Berkley High School, June 1957. He joined the Navy and served as a Radio Specialist for 4 years. He then worked as an electrician for Center Line Electric for 25 years. John married Phyllis Cheryl Stacey on June 20, 1975, at Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene. John liked being around people, enjoyed classic cars and attending car shows, golfing, and loved going on mission trips. John is survived by his loving wife Cheryl of Romeo, children; Beverly (Bruce) Richardson of Royal Oak and Michael (Renay) Stilber of Ray Twp. Two grandchildren, Adam and Nicole Stilber. Siblings; Marlene Fairchild, Robert (Lois) Stilber, and David (Pamela) Stilber. He was predeceased by his brother Richard and sister Elizabeth.
