John W. Cassidy Sr.

John W. Cassidy Sr., age 61, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. John was born September 21, 1953 in Ferndale, Michigan, the son of Kenneth J. and Ruth (Mullaly) Cassidy. John married Linda (Thompson) on March 27, 1976 at the family farm. John loved motorcycles, being outside, and liked being around animals. He also enjoyed cooking. John is survived by his wife Linda of Romeo, son John Jr. (Betty) of Romeo, siblings; Jim (Mary) of Marquette, Michigan, Patricia (Jack) Lundy of Romeo, Michigan, Nancy ( Roger) Campbell of Almont, Michigan, Ruth (Sam) Blake of Richmond, Michigan, Tim (Carrie Hurst) of Leonard, Michigan, Mary (George) DeBonville of Clinton Township, Michigan, Laurie (Greg) Willoughby of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Michael of Chicago, Illinois, and Ken (Teri) of San Diego, California. Also survived by his grandchildren Jean Marie, John III, Morgana, and Delaney. Donations can be made to the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Funeral services are pending.
