John W. Speshock

John William Speshock of Rochester Hills passed away December 15, 2019 at the age of 100.5. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He was the last surviving child of 10 born to George and Anna (Harmon) Speshock. Nick, Margaret, Anne, George, Mary, Eddie, John, Doris, Elaine and Richard. In 1941 John married Thelma (Caparosa) in Cumberland, Maryland, they had 3 children, Carol, Patti and George. John served in the United States Air Force earning an American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and WW II Victory Medal. He then went on to work for the Detroit Police Force becoming Detective Sergeant, solving many difficult cases. John was also an avid golfer, and loved good food and football. John is survived by his children Patti and George, grandchildren David, Angela, Lori, Cliff, Gerilynn, Aaron, Alec, Kate and Evan, great-grandchildren Stephen, Jon, Arielle, Cameron, Autumn, Crystal, Allison, Michael, Rachel, Anthony and Arianna. Funeral Services will be private.
