Jon S. Daly

Jon S. Daly, age 52, a 7 year resident of Imlay City, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Lapeer Regional Hospital. Jon was born October 2, 1959 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Richard and Georgiana (Hocking) Daly. He was a 1978 graduate of Romeo High School. He married Cynthia Wesner at their Aunt Margie’s house in 2003. Jon was a longtime owner/operator of Dalionos Restaurant in Marysville, Michigan. He loved watching all types of sports, was especially good at golf and was most proud of his hole-in-one at the Romeo Golf Course on Mothers Day. Jon is survived by his wife Cynthia, children: Kelly Szulborski of Imlay City, Jacob Daly & Joshua Daly both of Roseville, Michigan. Also survived by his mother Georgiana Daly of Romeo and brothers: Jim of Romeo, Jeff of Redondo Beach, California, and Michael of South Bend, Indiana. Also survived by special aunts, Margaret (David) Neebes, Patricia (Jim) Davis and his true companion, his dog Abby. Jon was preceded by his father Richard. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11 AM at St Paul’s Episcopal Church of Romeo with Rev. Stacy Salles. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 and on Sunday from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
