Joyce A. Pelto

Joyce Ann Pelto, age 72, a 14 year resident of Armada, formerly of Sterling Heights, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan.  Joyce was born February 20th, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Norman and Viola Johnson. Joyce was well known for her infectious smile and positive attitude.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. Joyce is survived by her husband Michael Pelto of Armada, Michigan;  Son Todd Geer and daughter in-law Tracy Geer; granddaughters Madison Geer and Marlee Geer.  All of Granger, Indiana.   Also survived by her sister Joan Smith and Husband Gene Smith and Niece’s; Julie Warren and Amy Peake.  Joyce was preceded in death by her father Norman Johnson and mother Viola Johnson. You are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” which will take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at 10:30 am at Romeo United Methodist Church located at:  280 North Main Street, Romeo, Michigan 48065.  Fellowship and lunch will follow the service.
