Julianna A. Meloche

Julianna A. Meloche, age 90, a resident of Sterling Heights, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Armada.  Julianna was born June 19, 1917 in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph B. and Mary (Zalewski) Darga.  She served in the Army with Women's Army Corps (WAC) during WWII.  She worked for a short time as an executive secretary.  She served on the board on the landscape committee for the Country Club Estate Condo's, where she lived in Sterling Heights for many years. Her hobbies included doing decoupages, attending art classes, gardening, sewing, and traveling.  She attended St Anne's Catholic Church in Warren for many years.     Julianna is survived by her sister-in-laws, Josephine Darga of Macomb, Nancy Darga of Mackinaw, & Jean Meloche of Sterling Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband John and brothers Raymond, Joseph, & Norbert.       Funerals services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic of Romeo with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 4-8 with a 7 PM rosary by the Knight of Columbus, Council # 7018 at the Henry M.
