Katherine L. (Johnson) Tardiff, age 32 a Romeo/Washington Twp. Resident since 1985 went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2015 at 5:44pm. Katie passed away peacefully during the song by Stevie Wonder “Isn’t she lovely”. That was the same song that was playing in the delivery room when she was born and it was her special song. She was born April 8, 1983. She is the daughter of David and Sharon Johnson. On June 15, 2007 Katie married Jon Tardiff. She loved the Lord, spending time with family and friends, and her dogs Rudy and Rocky. Katie also loved photography, music, camping, going to Mackinaw, and reading. Katie is survived by her husband Jon Tardiff and two fur babies Rudy and Rocky of Romeo, parents David and Sharon Johnson, brother David Johnson JR. two nieces Abigail and Eliana and Grandmother Betty Johnson. Visitation will be at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 3-8 PM. A Funeral Church service will be held on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 10am at Stony Creek Church at 26 Mile Road and Jewel Road (11711 26 Mile Rd, Washington, MI 48094(586) 781-2266.)
