Kathryn A. Michael

Kathryn A. Michael, age 93 a 3 year resident of Romeo, MI., passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2018. She was the daughter of James and Mabel (Sherman) Grierson. She was raised in Russellville, MI. She played violin in the Davison High School band where she met Gerald Fowler. They married and raised 5 children: Richard, Susan (Nault), Dale, Joan (Chapman) and Jerry in Berkley, MI. She was a well known dachshund breeder. When the children were grown, Kathryn became an RN. Gerald & Kathryn moved to Deming, New Mexico where they lived till he passed away in 1993. She met and married Harold Michael and moved to Camarillo, California. He passed away 19 years later and she moved back to Michigan. She had spent many years travelling the world and loved her crossword puzzles. She had 7 grandchildren, Mike, Connie, Christine, Doug, Darryl, Sonya & Dharma. 9 great-grandchildren Allyson, Samantha, Doug, Krista, Taylor, Jimmy, Danny, Desmond & Simon. She had 2 great great grandchildren, 2 step kids, a loving son in law, Dale, daughter in laws, Joyce and Bunny. She also had many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and she loved them all. We will all miss her sense of humor and interesting stories.
