Kathryn Sanderson

M. Kathryn Sanderson, age 78, a 2 year resident of Clinton Twp., and formerly from Romeo passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Center in Clinton Township. Kathryn was born October 15, 1931 in Lauderdale County, Alabama, the daughter of Huston and Zada (Williams) Howard. She married William P. Sanderson on June 8, 1957 in Royal Oak, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1989. Kathryn loved to be in her home, watch all sorts of television shows, loved to eat and be with her family. Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Mary (Tim) German of Sterling Heights and Betty Mengele of Allenton along with her son William Sanderson. Grandchildren include Anthony (Carla), Adam, & Brandon Mengele, Nichole (John) Knox, Todd and Michelle German. Great grandchildren include Zadie, Aaron, & Tyler. Surviving siblings include Jonah (Evelyn) Howard of South Carolina, Reynolds (Katie) Howard of Alabama, Vivian (Lalah) Howard of Virginia, & Dwinna (Jim) Walker of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Peggy Stahl & Eunice Hutto. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 11 AM at the Henry M.
