Kathryn "Wojo" L. Wojnowski

Kathryn “Wojo” L. Wojnowski, age 64, a 35 year resident of St Clair County, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Kathy was born March 1, 1950 in Detroit, the daughter of William and Phyllis (Hillock) Henretta. For many years, Katherine was a manager of a group home in Capac, Michigan. She had many and varied hobbies, from being a 4-H leader, reading books, doing activities with her grandsons, and most of all, just being a positive influence on everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her daughters: Dorrie Zakrzewski of Emmett and Beth Wojnowski of Washington Township. Also survived by grandsons Wesley & John along with siblings: Suzanne (Pete) Thompson of Onaway, MI., Eric ( India) Henretta & Butch Henretta of California, Mary Jo (Gary) Kersen of Arkansas, and sister in law Karen Henretta also of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward in 2014. Visitation will take place on Monday November 3, 2014 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
