Kay S. Zajko

Kay S. Zajko, age 82 a long time Romeo area resident passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her home. Kay was born on April 18, 1937, the daughter of Walter and Marion (Monroe) Shepley. Kay was a graduate of Grosse Pointe High School, Class of 1955. On September 15, 1958 she married the love of her life Eugene Zajko in Rochester, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and received a bachelors degree from Walsh College. Kay was an avid supporter of animals, an equestrian in her early and middle years, loved to read and in the past had been active in various local organizations. In the winter she enjoyed travel to warmer climates to beat the cold. Kay is survived by her loving husband Eugene of Bruce Township. Children; Patricia Sutter of Bruce Township, Jeffrey Zajko of Almont, Michigan, Pamela (John) Tucker of Rye, New Hampshire, Janet (Brian) Chambers of Almont, Michigan, Kimberly (Tim) Israel of Bruce Township, and Kendra Zajko of Clinton Township, Michigan. Siblings include; Lynda Reilly of Lake Forest, Illinois and Susan Coffee of Tuscon, Arizona, along with 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
