Kenneth J. Deneweth, age 79, a lifelong Macomb resident passed away on May 3, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. Kenneth was born on January 9, 1943, in Mt. Clemens, MI; son of Frank and Francis (Beste). Married the love of his life, Carolyn at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on July 28, 1962. Kenneth graduated from St. Lawrence High School in 1961. Not yet 21 years old, Ken and Carolyn bought 40 acres, beginning his dream to own and operate a farm and raise his family. Ken loved being up north: snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards and horseshoes. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Carolyn of Macomb Township. Sons and daughters, Kenneth Jr. of Carsonville, Thomas (Teresa) of Dryden, Christine (Peter) Kottke of Shelby Twp, Julie Schramm of Mancelona, and Jennifer (Erich) Redhage of Leonard. Brother, Larry Deneweth of Shelby Twp. and Brother in Law, John Janicki. Grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Browe, Kenny (DeAnna), Jason, Lauren (Wyatt) Roersma, Nick, Daniel, Samantha (Andrew) Graham, Nolan Kottke, Sarak Kottke, Jade Schramm, Alexa Schramm, Derek Schramm, Ashlynn Redhage, Nathan Redhage, Andrew Redhage, and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his sister Carol Janicki and sister in law, Philomine. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at St. Therese of Lisieux at 10am with an instate from 9:30-10:00am. Visitation will take place on Monday May 9, 2022 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo from 2-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Capuchin Retreat Center.
