Kris Ann Hewitt

Kris Ann Hewitt, age 58, a resident of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away February 12, 2024 of health complications at home. Kris was born November 5, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Larry Godfryd and Judith Manderfield.

During Kris’ lifetime, she worked in a corporate setting early on and pursued traveling, but once she entered motherhood she was able to be a stay at home mom, which was her truest passion. In later years, Kris worked at Costco and was a shining face there. After she had became a mother, she had great joy in planning annual family trips to Mackinaw Island with her kids. Kris was a proud mother of three, and a beautiful daughter and sister, loved by so many. She was a friend to all who met her. She had a kind and caring personality, humor to share, and had a heart to give. She will be dearly missed, and remembered.

Kris is survived by her mother, Judith (Fred) Coxen, her beloved children, Brooke Steele, Jake Steele, and Courtney Hewitt, brothers Kory (Jenna) Godfryd and  Deacon Kurt (Diana) Godfryd.
