Kurt R. Rozek

Kurt R. Rozek, age 31, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away in Washington Twp., on Friday, September 28, 2007.  Kurt was born in Almont Hospital in Bruce Twp., on February 25, 1976 the son of Gordon and Sylvia (Brady) Rozek.  Kurt was currently employed as a health care worker with Independent Opportunity a group home on Pound Road in Richmond, MI.   He previously worked at Alward's Grocery Store in Washington Twp. Kurt was a 1994 graduate of Romeo High School.   His hobbies included playing on his computer, playing baseball, horseshoes, and being an avid Michigan State Fan.    Kurt is survived by his parents Gordon and Sylvia of Romeo, siblings:  Crystal (Duane) Siegfried of Romeo, Paul of Romeo, Karen (David Leach) Adams of Armada, & Julie (Joe Spear) Prohaszka of Romeo. Also survived by his grandmother Geraldine Brady of Romeo, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, his uncle Leroy Brady, & his girlfriend Lynn Schramm all of Romeo. He was preceded in death by his nephew Scott Serwatowski.      Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of  St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Visitation: Visitation Times Malburg Funeral Home
