Kyle Martin Peake

Kyle Martin Peake, age 18, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 11, 2007.  Kyle was born August 31, 1988 in Rochester Hills, MI., the son of Kendall and Stacey (Martin) Peake. Kyle was a 2006 graduate of Romeo High School where he excelled as a swimmer.  In his senior year, Kyle set the school breaststroke record (which still stands today), was the captain of the swim team, and held numerous county swim awards.  After graduation, Kyle along with his family  that started the Romeo Dolphins Swim Club, continued to help the youth in their swim meets and practice. Kyle currently worked at Papa Joe's Gourmet Market in Rochester Hills as a cashier/delivery person and attended Macomb Community College in the Civil Engineering Program. His hobbies included camping, hunting, fishing, and being with his family & friends.      Kyle is survived by his parents, Kendall & Stacey of Romeo, siblings:  Bryan (Lorraine) Peake of Capac, Nigel Peake of Romeo and Jillian of E. Lansing.  Also survived by grandparents Lee Peake of Romeo, Phyllis Martin of Payson, AZ., Daryl Martin of  Gilbert, AZ., and great grandmother Blanche Rogers also of Payson, AZ.  Nieces & nephews include Elizabeth, Cameron, & Erica.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  His love of his life were his two dogs, Roxy & Bishop.       Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans officiating.   Burial will follow in the Bruce-Armada Cemetery.  Donations to the Kyle Peake Memorial Fund would be appreciated.  Visitation will take place at the Henry M.
