Lawrence J. Delater

Lawrence J. DeLater , age 86, a resident of Washington Township, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Wellbridge Nursing Center in Romeo. Lawrence was born November 23, 1931 in Rochester, Michigan, the son of Howard and Marie (Glaska) DeLater. While working at National Twist Drill as its IT System’s Manager, he met the love of his life, Joann Eastwood, and after many years of marriage, she preceded him in death on September 14, 2014. His hobbies included going walleye fishing in Anchor Bay and Port Huron, bow hunting white tail deer, and being a member of the Audubon Society. Lawrence is survived by his son David of Atlanta, Georgia. Memorial visitation will take place on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 3-7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road Romeo, Michigan.
