Lawrence LePage, age 79, a resident of the Romeo/Washington area since 1975, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at his home in Washington Township. Larry was born January 10, 1936 in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Wilfred and Florence (Marlow) LePage. He married Jeanette Grochowski on September 16, 1961 at Ascention Catholic Church in Warren, Michigan. Larry was a salesman his whole life. He starting selling with the Saunders Bakery in Detroit, then switched to selling baby strollers with the Stroller Chair Company of Southfield and then for the next 20 years sold for the Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills that was owned by his family. He retired around 2001 so that he could spend more time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to do puzzles with his grandchildren, being an usher at both St Clement Catholic Church and more recently at St John & Paul Catholic Church of Washington Township. He also loved to hunt and fish when he had time. Larry is survived by his wife Jeanette, children: Timothy (Wanda) of Romeo, Lori (Randy) Newsom of Allenton, Jeffrey (Wendy) of Armada, and Jennifer (Chris) Kucharski of Almont. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, one great granddaughter Lillianna, along with siblings: Rosalie LePage & Pauline Funk both of California, Bernard (Luba) of Rochester, and Richard (Anette) of Richmond. Along with many nieces and nephews, Larry is survived by Jeanette’s siblings: Anne (Ted) Snarski of Emmett, MI., Lorraine Kaczor of Fraser, Alfred (Joanne) Grochowski of Highland, MI., and Arlene Paul of Benzonia, MI. Larry is preceded in death by his son Kenneth, brother Wilfred Jr. (Bill) , brother in laws Leo Kaczor, and Eddy Paul. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 6 at 11 AM at St John & Paul Catholic Church of Washington Township with Fr. David Buersmeyer officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-8, and on Thursday from 2-8 with a 6:30 PM Scripture Service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Visitation will also be on Friday from 10:30 till 11 AM at the Church.
