Leon Arthur Bourgeois

Leon A. Bourgeois, age 73 a 31 year resident of Capac and formerly from Romeo passed away on March 9. 2020 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. Leon was born on December 28, 1946 the son of Alcide and Doris (Erdman). Leon was a Romeo High School graduate class of 1967. After graduating from high school he joined the Army where he proudly served 2 years. In 1993 he married Cathy Wendt in St. Clair County, Michigan. Leon worked for 38 years at the Romeo Ford Engine Plant. He enjoyed watching Nascar, John Wayne movies, and University of Michigan sports. Leon is survived by his loving wife Cathy of Capac. Children; Brian (Jessica) of Kentucky, Venus (Jim) Dedenbach of Capac, Ken of Richmond, and Lawrence (Angela) of Chesterfield. Sibilings; David (Jen) and Diane (Bill) Sapelak. Along with 11 loving grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, march 12, 202 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Bruce-Armada Cemetery.
