Leonard "Lenny" E. Benner

Leonard “Lenny” E. Benner, age 72 a 17 year resident of Romeo/Bruce Twp. Passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Lenny was born on September 7, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. Lenny worked for over 30 years at the Chrysler Mound Engine Plant as a Welder. He loved his Yorkie dogs but especially loved the dog “Sonny”. Lenny is survived by his wife Caroleen (Cobrac) of Bruce Twp.. Children Lisa (Brian) hodges of Westland, Todd of Westland, Tammy (Larry) Marlette, and Scott (Marilyn) of Garden City. Also survived by five brothers, 2 sisters, and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10 AM with Rev. Eric Majeski officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4-9. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
