Leroy Claude Barnum

Leroy Barnum, age 83, a lifelong resident of the Leonard/Romeo area, passed away at his home on November 3, 2018. Leroy was born October 14, 1935 to Claude Nathaniel and Ethel (Byer) Barnum. He married Noreen (Wethy) on December 22, 1956 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Township. Leroy worked at Ford Motor Company in the assembly line for 32 years. His hobbies included fishing, building birdhouses and playing with the dog. Leroy is survived by his children: Tim (Cindy) Barnum of Washington Township, Gail (Patty) Barnum of Seattle Washington, Leroy (Tammy) Barnum of Emmett, MI., and Tracy (John) Stokes of Leonard. Also survived by 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife Noreen (Wethy), his parents and sister Geradine Martz. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 7 at 11 AM at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Draeger officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
