Leslie "Les" James O'Brien passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:44 PM in the hospital due to septic shock. Known for being a hard-working man and love for life's simple pleasures, Les will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Les spent many years working as a maintenance professional, where he was admired for his dedication and skill. In his free time, he could often be found in his garage always accompanied by his favorite rock and roll music, tinkering with projects, organizing, fixing things, cleaning his cars, and sharing his talents with others. Had a love for classic cars. He loved his dog, Minnie, and was known to enjoy a good drink with friends and family.
Les is survived by his amazing wife, Holly Grundy, and his children: son Leslie J. Eisenhardt (Beth) and daughter Janae Leslie O'Brien-Davis (Carlton). He was a proud grandfather to granddaughters, Alyssa and Emma Eisenhardt, and to Cassidy, Kennedy, Kenzi, and Kaci Russ (twins). Les also shared a great relationship with his stepson Jason Grundy and his step-grandsons Jase, Justin, and Joey Grundy.
He was the beloved son of Marjorie and Leslie O'Brien and a cherished brother to Debbie Holly, his close bond with twin sister Linda O'Brien, Sandy Cobert (James), Nikki Capwell, and David O'Brien (Jody). Les was predeceased by his sister Julie O'Brien and his brother Matt O'Brien.
Les lived a life filled with love, family and friends. a knack for fixing anything that anybody came to him with and needed to be fixed. His memory will be carried forward in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Les's life will take place after the start of the new year. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to his daughter (Janae) to help with funeral costs and arrangements.
