Lily See

Lily See, age 85, a Romeo resident for 63 years passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, August 15, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. Lily was born on March 10, 1929, in Sarnia, Ontario, the daughter of Luke & Elizabeth Grabove. She married Robert See on September 11, 1951. Lily was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher of the blind and an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Romeo. She enjoyed reading, taking long walks, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & many friends. Lily is survived by her husband Bob of 63 years, children Linda (Craig) Nowicke of Florida, Carrie (Ross) Bergeon of Washington Twp. and Tim (Judy) See of Rochester, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother of Sarnia, Ontario A memorial celebration of Lily’s life will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 246 Benjamin St., Romeo , on Saturday, August 23rd at 11 am. The family will receive friends from 10 am on Saturday until the 11 am service. Burial will be at the Romeo Cemetery.
