Linda B. Wackerle

Linda B. Wackerle, Age 71, longtime Romeo resident and previous Port Huron resident, passed away on Monday October 14, 2019 at her Romeo residence. Linda was born on December 29, 1947 the daughter of Stuart and Dorothy (Cudney) Grimes. She worked many years as a legal secretary and later devoted her life to raising a family with her husband Douglas and twins James and Beth. She loved family camping in the summer, photography and raising a family. She was active in the Orchards Community Church, serving in the steering committee and formation of the local church, prayer ministry and fellowship luncheons. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Douglas of Romeo. Children; James (Tricia) of Ferndale, and Beth of Romeo. Brother Ben of Saginaw, sister Julie (Danny) Watson of Port Huron, brother Daniel (Laurie) of Washington State, brother Tim of Boyne City, sister Chris (Tom) Reno of Port Huron. Also, many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 11:30 am at the Orchards Community Church (74903 Mckay Rd. Bruce Township, MI 48065) with Senior Pastor Jeff Hossler and Associate Pastor Dale Rinke officiating. Visitation will be at 10:30 am, Memorial service starting at 11:30 and fellowship luncheon following after the Memorial service (All Welcome). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Orchards Community Church (74903 Mckay Rd. Bruce Township, MI 48065) and/or the Family.
