Lois E. Chinoski, age 86, a lifelong Armada Twp. resident, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Villa’s of Shelby Assisted Living. Lois was born March 2, 1923 in Armada Twp., the daughter of Archibald and Mary Edna (Draper) Tibbits. She married Leo Chinoski on August 19, 1946 at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Along with her husband and family, they were longtime dairy farmers at the Armada Twp. farm. Lois also worked for over 20 years as a meat clerk at the A & P grocery store and then at Kroger’s until her retirement in the early 1980’s. She also worked as a bus driver for St Augustine’s School in Richmond and also did seasonal help for the VanHoutte Farms. Lois, along with her husband Leo were founding members of St Clement Catholic Church and Lois also belonged to the Altar Society for many years. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Mary of Shelby Twp., and Josephine (Carl) Grider of West Bloomfield. Grandchildren include Bryan Grider of San Jose, California and Laura Grider of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Leo on Jan. 29, 2007 and her brother Robert Tibbits. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo followed by burial at the family plot in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Armada Twp. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6-9 and on Wednesday from 2-9 with a 7 PM rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan Visitation: on Tuesday from 6-9 and on Wednesday from 2 - 9 with a 7 PM Rosary. Visitation also at St Clemens on Thursday from 10:15 till 11 AM. Services: Thursday at 11 AM at St Clement Catholic Church, Romeo Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery in Armada Township
