Loretta F. Morefield

Loretta F. Morefield, age 74, a 13 year resident of Rochester, MI., and formerly from the Addison Twp., MI. area, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills.  Loretta was born July 14, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Pendelton) Potvin.   She married Norman Morefield on Dec. 15, 1951 in Angola, Indiana. Along with her husband, they were owners/operators of Morefield Construction in Leonard for many years.  Her love of life was her family, especially her grandchildren.         Loretta is survived by her husband Norman, children:  Debby Porter of Florida, Pam Brooks of Las Vegas, Cheryl Perry of Rochester, Cynthia Morefield & Nadine Fletemier both of Romeo, Kim (Louie) Kreiner of Brown City and Blake Morefield of Leonard.  Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 12   great grandchildren, along with siblings, Rita Perrin of Fairhaven, MI., Michael Potvin of Sterling Heights, and Larry Potvin of Clinton Twp. She was preceded in death by her daughter Norma along with siblings Jerry Potvin, Marie Hardin, and Joan Skonieczny.     Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Dan Gardner of  Zion Evangelistic Church in Troy officiaiting. Inurnment will take place at Garden Angels Cemetery in Oakland Township.
