Lottie Sue Youngblood, age 88, a resident of Washington Township for 16 years and previously from Southfield, MI., passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. Lottie was born December 15, 1928 in Farmington, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard Arden and Queen Elizabeth (Adams) Crouch. Lottie married Marvin Luther Youngblood on August 21, 1950 in Angola, Indiana and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1998. Along with her husband and family they were the owner/operators at many business in the Detroit area including the “Dipsey Doodle Restaurant” in Ferndale, an arcade and flea marker in Royal Oak, and had a coal mine in Virginia. Her hobbies include her flowers, sewing, and all type of crafts. Over the years she belonged to the Church of Christ in Kentucky and Royal Oak. Lottie is survived by her sons, Richard (Jacalyn) Youngblood of Bruce Township and David (Mark Sikorski) Youngblood of Imlay City. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and her sister Anna Haller of Lewiston, MI. Lottie was preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Lipke and her son-in-law Tom Lipke. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Fr. Daniel Darson of the St Paul’s Episcopal Church of Romeo officiating with burial to take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Michigan. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2—8 PM at the Funeral Home. Donations to the Karmanos Cancer Institute would be appreciated .
