Louis C. Resner

Louis C. Resner, age 81 of Almont, formerly from Shelby Twp., pass away surrounded by his loving family at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Louis was born Sept. 22, 1928 in Detroit, the son of Arthur and Pearl (DeLisle) Resner. He has been married for over 60 years to the love of life, Bernadine (nee Arnold). Louis retired as a Sergeant with the Shelby Twp. Fire Department. Louis is survived by his wife Bernadine of Almont. Loving father to Cynthia (Lewis) Helmker of Owosso, MI., Robin (Patrick) Chandler of Shelby Twp., Teri (Steve) Kleinhans of Almont, and Sandra (David) Zgnilec also of Almont. Also survived by 10 greandchildren. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, brother Arthur, and his daughter Lynne. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Henry M.
