Louis C. Thomas

Louis C. Thomas, age 91, a 5 year resident of Leonard MI., and formerly a 44 year resident of Warren and for the first 40 years of his life in Hazel Park, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2014 at the Campbell Personal Care Home in Leonard, MI. Louis was born October 11, 1922 in Kingston, Arkansas, the son of Eugene and Flossie (Moore) Thomas. Louis retired from General Motors at its Cadillac Stamping Plant in Detroit as a foreman after 44 years of employment in 1985. During WW II, Louis served his Country proud while being in the Navy. Upon retirement, Louis enjoyed bike riding, reading, and walking. Louis is survived by his sons: Jerry (Adriana) Thomas of Warren, James (Dayna) Thomas of Leonard, MI. and step-son Ed Thomas. Grandchildren include Keith, Jesse, Jenna, Kailyn, Ryan, Alexis, Dustin, Mike, and Mariana. Memorial services are private with burial of Cremains at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations in memory of Louis would be appreciated to the Alzheimers Association.
