Louis W. Tisch

Louis W. Tisch, Jr., age 74, a 42 year resident of the Romeo area, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Medi-Lodge Nursing Facility in Yale, MI. Louis was born August 20, 1937 in Muskegon, MI., the son of Louis W. Sr. and Elizabeth (Faketty) Tisch. Louis, along with his family were owner/founder of the D & C. Store in Romeo from 1965 till 1975 and then moved to Rochester, MI., from 1975 till 1993 when he retired. He then worked at the Alwards Grocery Store in Romeo. Louis served his Country in the Army and his hobbies include fishing, building model planes/cars/tanks/ and tractors. Louis is survived by his children: Mark Tisch of Salt Lake City, Utah, Beth Marie Tisch of Muskegon, MI., Matthew Lee (Vicki) Tisch of North Muskegon, Jennifer (Kelly) Spencer of Capac, MI., and Louis III (Angie) Tisch of Almont. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and siblings: Marilyn (Fred) Kundrata of Traverse City, MI., David (Judy) Tisch of Texas, & Tom (Susan) Tisch of Chicago. Louis was preceded in death by his siblings: Emma Jean, Janice, Betty, Bob, and his parents Louis Sr. & Elizabeth. Memorial visitation will take place on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Henry M.
