Louise Marie Trombley, age 96, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Louise was born January 6, 1915 at their farm in Washington Township, the daughter of Rudolph and Elizabeth Bade Falker. She was baptized and confirmed at St John Lutheran Church in Romeo where she was a life member, taught Sunday School, member of its Altar Guild, played the organ, member of its Mary Martha Society, and was a former secretary at the church. She married Marvin Trombley on January 25, 1941 at St John’s. Her work history includes Hurd Lock in Almont and Interstate Manufacturing in Romeo. Along with her husband Marvin, they had an orchestra, mainly working at wedding and party’s. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Marvin on July 3, 1999. She is survived by her children: Harold (Diane) Trombley of Romeo and Ron (Linda) Trombley of Florida. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Louise is also survived by her brothers: Martin Falker & Howard Falker both of Romeo. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter Geraldine Landry and sister Lydia Griffin. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church of Romeo with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Donations to St John Lutheran Church of Romeo would be appreciated. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-9 and on Thursday from 3-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
