Lu Ann Patrzalek

Lu Ann (Dean) Patrzalek, age 83, of Leonard passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018. Lu Ann was born on September 26, 1934 the daughter of Harold and LaRonda (Scantlen) Dean. Lu Ann married Julius “Chet” Patrzalek on May 14, 1955 in Bryan, Ohio. He preceded Lu Ann in death on April 9, 2010. Lu Ann worked as a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of Romeo United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Lu Ann enjoyed reading, especially murder mysteries and being with her cherished grandchildren. Lu Ann is survived by her children Todd of Leonard, Brian (Michelle) of Leonard, and Wendy (Justin) Reschke of Livonia, along with grandchildren: Kaitlin (Nate) and Adam Patrzalek, Zachary, Aaron and Taber Reschke. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home 11280 32 Mile Road in Romeo. A short committal service will take place at Bruce Cemetery following visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Romeo United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
