Luann L. Zappella

Luann L. Zappella age 77, passed away peacefully in her home in hospice on October 17, 2018. Luann was born on August 5, 1941 to Carl and Sylvia (Schildt) Schlussler in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Luann has been a lifelong resident of Macomb County. She enjoyed gardening and worked at the Nursery American Tree. Luann also loved being at her home. Luann is survived by her children Michael (Lori) Couch of Dryden; Susan (Paul) Polakowski of Dryden; Chris (Lori) of Lapeer; Marie (Dave) Snay; Francis (Steve) Severanee of California.; and her grandchildren Shelby, Madeline, and Michael III Couch; and Brooke Polakowski. Luann is preceded in death by her husband John Zappella. Services are private. Local arrangements by Henry M. Malburg Funeral home in Romeo, MI.
